Seek professional advices from professional service firms such as lawyers and China accountants; Purchase good quality products first; work with Chinese venders to help them improve qualities; provide technical support to Chinese venders.

Could you tell us a short interesting story from your experience, which shows difference of the Chinese and Western business culture?

In Western countries, contracts are normally negotiated and signed at the office. However, one of our clients from western country told me that he signed the contract just at the table of a dinner after drinking of a lot of liquor with his Chinese customers.

What would you like to tell to our audience?

Chinese business environment is very unique and quite different from Western countries. All the businessman from the western country coming to China needs to understand this environment before a successful goal is achieved. To get a good understanding, a good Chinese accountant with international experience is a must.
